The situation regarding the coronavirus is constantly evolving, so we recommend that you stay up to date with the travel advice and restrictions on the State Department's website (UM – Udenrigsministeriet) if you are going on, or planning to purchase a trip.
The Cancellation cover is valid when the State Department advises against all unnecessary entry to your travel destination, or has already recommended evacuation, due to an epidemic – or an imminent danger of epidemic – at that destination.
As travel advice is constantly being updated, Tryg will only be able to decide 72-hours prior to departure whether the trip is covered by the cancellation cover.
You can find the necessary information for claims on our insurance pages. Should you have questions regarding cancellation cover in connection with corona, please contact Tryg: +45 44204496
