When making a purchase with your Eurocard, the place of purchase is obliged to check if there is coverage for the purchase. When this check has been carried out, a corresponding amount is reserved. It usually takes 2-3 banking days for the transaction to be posted.

For example, a larger amount is usually reserved when filling up with petrol. The corrected amount is then posted, and the reservation is removed within 3-5 days.
