Are there limitations to the contactless payment feature?

Yes, the contactless payment feature can be used without PIN authentication for transactions up to 50 EUR. Contactless payments exceeding 50 EUR will require PIN authentication.

You will be required to use your chip and PIN code when you have exceeded a total of 100 EUR. After which, contactless transactions will once again be available.

Limitations to contactless payments vary depending on the country you are in.
