Frequently asked questions and answers
Can I block my card for purchases abroad?
We always work to provide solutions that are as safe and simple as possible for our customers. Eurocard currently does not offer the option to deactivate the card for purchases abroad, but we are constantly assessing this. As a customer, you are always protected against financial losses as long as you have not acted negligently.
Should I pay in local currency or Norwegian kroner when abroad?
When using Eurocard abroad with another currency, you may be asked if you want to pay in Norwegian kroner. We recommend that you decline and instead pay in local currency. Eurocard usually has better exchange rates than the stores do. See what exchange rate is used when converting your purchases abroad to Norwegian kroner.
- Can I withdraw cash at an exchange point?
