Here, we've gathered everything you need to know about part payment of Eurocard invoices.
Frequently asked questions and answers
Can I make a part-payment on my invoice?
If you have a private Eurocard then you can opt to pay your invoice in installments.
This also applies to purchases made with any family cards.
What is the part payment option?
Our part payment option is included as part of the private Eurocard, and it means you can pay your invoice in installments. Having the part payment option does not cost anything extra and it means that you only pay interest on the months when you choose not to pay the entire invoice.
You can choose a part payment option between €1,000 and €10,000 (max. 10% of your annual income).
Of course, there is still no upper purchase limit for how much you can purchase with your Eurocard.
How do I apply for a part payment?
The part payment option is included in your Eurocard Gold. If you want to change your existing part payment option, fill out this application.
How much can I partially pay on my invoice?
If you have a Eurocard private card, you can choose how much you want to pay when your invoice arrives. However, you must pay at least 3% of the invoice amount (at least 30 euros) as long as it is within your part payment option. The minimum amount that must be paid is clearly indicated on the invoice. Of course, you can pay the entire invoice in a single payment when it suits you in the future.
If, on the other hand, you have purchased on top of your part payment option, that amount must also be paid.
If you have a partial payment option of €2000, and you have purchased for €2500, you can only partially pay up to €2000 of the total invoice amount. This means that when you receive the invoice of €2500 you must pay at least €560 (€2000 x 3% = €60 and €500, the amount of the invoice which exceeds your part payment option).
Alternatively, if you had purchased for €2000, the lowest amount to pay would have been €60 (€2000 x 3%).
What is the cost of the part payment option?
Having a partial payment option on your private Eurocard won’t cost you anything extra, apart from the interest costs on the months when you choose not to pay your entire invoice.
